Viticulture-winery
We have been a winery since 1995, operating with 45 hectares of vineyards and a fully integrated wine estate. All stages of production—grape processing, fermentation, storage, bottling, sales, and tastings—take place on-site. Our vineyards are located within a 3 km radius. Locally, my family and I live and work in Écs, in Győr-Moson-Sopron County, within the Pannonhalma wine region. The estate is currently managed jointly by the second and third generations.
Our wines are sold in 3, 5.4, and 22-liter returnable plastic containers within Győr-Moson-Sopron County, primarily in the HORECA sector. In October, we introduced our bag-in-box products, available in 3- and 5-liter sizes.
Bottled wines account for 20% of our sales. Since 2003, we have operated a bottling line with a capacity of 1,500 bottles per hour. Our selection typically includes 6-7 varieties, ranging from white, red, and rosé to fragrant, classic, light, and full-bodied wines—catering to all tastes. Last year, we launched our light, fragrant Széldombi Szellő cuvée, and this year, we introduced our sparkling wine, Széldombi Vihar.
Additionally, we collaborate with customers to produce custom-labeled wines, perfect as corporate gifts, for associations, or as wedding favors.
We are seeking partnerships with small and large liquor stores, tobacconists, and wine shops.
